Besides the unpaired poplars. Cristina Fieraru (soprano) and Maxim Belciug (guitar) Concert

 January 30, 2026, 7:00 PM

Dalles Hall Bucharest

Romances, arias and other dream music, with a guitar that cries and a voice that makes you “embrace that sacred charm and light the candle of love on earth at night” – this is our proposal for the concert that takes place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Dalles Hall in Bucharest. The brilliant soprano Cristina Fieraru, one of the new stars on the local lyrical scene, accompanied by the guitarist of Enchantments, Maxim Belciug, will take the stage. The two will offer the audience an evening of refinement and sensitivity, of longing, passion and life, in an extraordinary concert that combines the tenderness of romances with the expressive force of opera arias and the brilliance of Neapolitan canzonets. An emotional show, of a diamond aesthetic, which catches in its iridescent fabric Handel and Guilelm Șorban, intertwining Vaga Luna with 'O sole mio, to finally calm down in a melancholic walk along the solitary poplars. An experience that will delight both the ear of fine connoisseurs and the freshest of listeners of other genres, who will be able to enjoy a revealing encounter, in which all forgotten longings are transformed into song. Indeed, life without music would no longer be a paradise! CRISTINA FIERARU is one of the most brilliant young voices we have. She graduated from the Faculty of Musical Interpretation of the National University of Music Bucharest, the Stylistic Interpretative – Singing section, where she studied with soprano Iulia Isaev and mezzo-soprano Cristina Soreanu. In addition to her university studies, she had the chance to work with internationally renowned personalities such as Ruxandra Donose, Ramon Vargas, Leontina Văduva, Mariana Nicolesco, Florin Estefan, enriching her interpretative technique. She is a constant presence on the lyrical stage, being invited since the age of 18 to the Bucharest National Opera, where she debuted in 2018  in the role of Pamina, from the opera Die Zauberflöte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Other roles performed: Erste Dame from the same Die Zauberflöte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Alice Ford from the opera Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi, Mimì and Musetta from the opera La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini, Contessa d’Almaviva from the opera Le nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Dido from the opera Dido and Æneas by Henry Purcell and Ileana from the opera La Şezătoare by Tiberiu Brediceanu. She frequently collaborates with the Opera Comică pentru Copii, and din 2021 she is a member of the Preludiu Chamber Choir – Voicu Enăchescu. She has participated as a guest soloist in numerous concerts and festivals, at the Bucharest National Opera, the Romanian Athenaeum, St. Joseph's Cathedral, the Philharmonic Orchestras of Brașov, Craiova, Arad, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Pitești, Sibiu and more.

**Translation:** MAXIM BELCIUG is a well-known name. A classical artist in his training, he is the guitarist of Încântărilor, the one who stubbornly believes that beauty will still save the world. For more than 3 decades, he has been singing tirelessly, in the country and abroad, as a soloist or in various chamber ensembles, always trying to befriend the public with the classical guitar and with the music that can be shared with this wonderful instrument.

CRISTINA FIERARU and MAXIM BELCIUG debuted as a duo in 2024, proposing to offer the public the opportunity for encounters with the beauty and diversity of the lyrical repertoire in a presentation adapted to a theater stage, where the intimacy between artists and the public allows a different kind of closeness – more direct, more sincere, more alive – to this imperishable music. Their recitals enjoy extraordinary public success, both in Bucharest and in the country, on the stages of philharmonics and festivals where they are invited. Through everything they do, the two explore the expressive possibilities of the voice – guitar pair in the context of repertoire diversity, always seeking emotion, beauty and pure music, stripped of direction, constructs, image, and artifices.
