The Regățenilor Ball – 3rd Edition, Dragobete
An evening dedicated to traditional Romanian dance
February 13, 2026 Time: 8:00 PM
Ceres Salon – Agronomy Herăstrău Campus
Following the success of the first two editions, which brought together hundreds of participants and revived the traditional ball as a space for play and community gathering, The Regățenilor Ball returns to Bucharest with its 3rd edition – Dragobete, scheduled for February 13, 2026, at 8:00 PM, at the Salon Ceres – Campus Agronomie Herăstrău.
The event is dedicated to Romanian traditional dance, conceived as a participatory experience, in which the audience is invited to dance, not just to watch. The evening's program is built around traditional games from the Regățean area and other ethnographic areas, performed live and coordinated so that the guests can enjoy a dynamic, authentic evening deeply rooted in tradition. Organized by Asociația Folclorică „Valea Prahovei”, the Regățenilor Ball proposes a cultural format that combines artistic rigor with community energy, recreating the atmosphere of balls of yesteryear in a form adapted to the contemporary public. Live musical accompaniment, provided by Orchestra CD Music, supports the continuous unfolding of the games and preserves the rhythmic specificity of the traditional repertoire.
The presence of the invited artists Paul Surugiu – FUEGO, Radu Adam and Alin Trocan completes this construction centered on dance, contributing to the outlining of a festive evening, without diminishing the participatory character of the event.
Held under the sign of Dragobete, the 3rd edition of the Regățenilor Ball reaffirms traditional dance as a living form of cultural expression, socialization, and identity.
