"WHIMS AND WHIMSICAL PEOPLE", a screenplay based on the most amusing "moments" of Caragiale, directed by Dan Tudor, part of the CARAGIALE INTEGRAL project, which debuted with the premiere of "D'ale Carnavalului" on January 21 and continued in February with "A Stormy Night" at the beginning of February.
The cast of the new premiere includes beloved actors of the Romanian stage, accustomed to the successful shows directed by the prolific Dan Tudor: Dragoș Ionescu, Andrei Duban, Corina Dănilă, Adriana Guluțanu, Afrodita Androne, Gabriel Coveșeanu, Grațiela Teohari Duban, Adrian Dima, Dan Tudor. WHIMS AND WHIMSICAL PEOPLE is a modern, thrilling interpretation of I.L. Caragiale's sketches, a show that combines situational comedy with the unexpected, a filmic unfolding, without altering the uniqueness of the writing and strictly respecting the spirit and letter of Caragiale.
