Three girlfriends, one gentleman, one apartment and... an infinity of lies and entanglements!
The show "Amor, bucluc și balamuc" is a bubbly comedy, a farce full of situations with a delicious humor, with a cast to match: Paula Chirilă, Silviu Biriș, Cristi Martin, Gabriela Porumbacu, Iulian Ilinca, Bianca Totolici / Alexandra Mărgărit-Dan.
The stage direction belongs to the Romanian-Canadian director Daniel Bucur, and the costume concept to Cristi Martin.
You will enter the carefully organized life of a charming and extremely self-assured gentleman, who manages to maintain, in complete secrecy, love affairs with three different women. Their work schedules allow the man to "schedule" them precisely in his life, so that they never meet. For each, he is the ideal man, and his apartment - "home".
The perfect balance collapses, however, one day, when, due to unexpected changes, all three lovers arrive almost simultaneously in his apartment. Caught completely unprepared, the gentleman finds himself forced to juggle increasingly complicated lies to avoid them meeting.
The situation becomes even more explosive when an old friend comes to visit. Although he initially seems completely out of context, he quickly understands the chaos he has fallen into and agrees to help the "juggler", improvising increasingly absurd strategies to avoid the meeting of the lovers. The housekeeper also joins the plot, contributing ideas... at least out of the ordinary, to hiding, moving and explanations that are more and more extravagant and unlikely.
The succession of hilarious situations, hidden lovers and unforeseen exits only partially works, chaos returning almost after each action.
Against the backdrop of these entanglements, a surprise appears, with the newly arrived friend as the main character, adding another unexpected element to an already explosive farce.
The ending brings an apparently ordered resolution to the disaster, leaving behind a comic lesson about lies, love, and the fragility of "perfect" plans.
Show not recommended for children under 12.
