In a timeless kingdom, without place or name, where magic and beauty intertwine at every step, a long-awaited princess is born, both by her parents and the inhabitants. At birth, the princess is cursed by Maleficent, the evil fairy, that on the day she turns 16, she will prick her finger on a spindle and fall asleep forever. Although the good fairies, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, try to protect her and transform the curse into a magic sleep, destiny is fulfilled.

Time passes, and this destiny seems inevitable... Until a handsome prince falls in love with Aurora and true love changes the course of the story.
