On July 4th, experience the magic of one of the most long-lived and appreciated music festivals in Europe – EUROPAfest, an event that brings artists from all over the world to Bucharest and creates authentic connections through jazz, blues, pop and classical music. For over three decades, the festival has transformed the city into a meeting point for diverse cultures and styles.

The concept Jazz at the Theatre transforms Luceafărul Hall into a space where the theater audience discovers the energy of live jazz, and the intimate atmosphere of the hall amplifies every musical nuance. It is an invitation to openness, to exploration and to the meeting of two artistic worlds that complement each other perfectly.

Deborah Dery Trio – Israel, USA, France proposes a warm and expressive sound universe, in which the voice and piano intertwine with the subtlety of the double bass and the dynamics of the drums. From classic swing to modern and even avant-garde influences, the trio outlines a musical universe that goes from intimate ballads to energetic pieces. With the latest album Blossom Time (2024), the artist confirms a mature and expressive direction, and the live promises an authentic and emotional experience.

The evening continues with Jam Session: JuMa - Poland & Guests, an explosion of creativity alongside artists from the USA, Italy, Ireland, South Korea, Peru, Canada, Azerbaijan and Romania. JuMa brings the energy of the new generation of European jazz, a mix of free jazz, fusion and Scandinavian influences, with a bold, experimental and intense sound.

Each moment of the evening becomes a musical journey, each improvisation an unrepeatable story.
