EUROPAfest 33: IT’S JAZZ TIME

On July 9th, EUROPAfest brings jazz closer to the public in a concert full of energy. It’s Jazz Time transforms the Luceafărul Hall into a space for artistic dialogue, where different styles and cultures meet through the power of live music.

The program begins with Petkov–Radev Duo – Bulgaria, a project built around the dialogue between piano and clarinet. The artists propose a fine, expressive and subtle musical experience, in which each theme develops naturally, with emotion and precision.

The concert continues with RITU – South Korea, a group that brings a distinct, modern and energetic sound to the EUROPAfest stage. Through voice, piano, bass and percussion, RITU creates a musical universe in which vocal sensitivity intertwines with expressive rhythms and contemporary harmonies.

The evening then opens to the free spirit of improvisation through Jam Session: Cohen Almonte Duo – USA, Israel, Peru, Ireland & Guests, alongside artists from USA, Italy, Canada, Poland, Peru, Azerbaijan and Romania. Together with Perla Palmieri – voice, Ilhan Saferali – trumpet and Nicolò Buffa – guitar, the jam session moment becomes a celebration of unexpected encounters and live creativity.

In jazz, time is measured differently: through emotion, improvisation and the connection between artists and the audience. On July 9th, at EUROPAfest, it's time for jazz.
