VIVO PER LEI – Fabulous POP-OPERA Concert for Women's Day with tenors ŞTEFAN von KORCH, ALIN STOICA and soprano ŞTEPHANIE RADU

 Dalles Hall Bucharest

March 12, 2025 at 19:00

Women's Month brings to Sala Dalles pop-opera tunes vibrantly performed by tenors ŞTEFAN von KORCH and ALIN STOICA, joined as a muse by soprano ŞTEPHANIE RADU. The "VIVO PER LEI" concert combines intensely emotional musical pieces from universal lyricism and pop-opera repertoire in a program that merges refinement, passion, and emotion. The concert will take place on March 12 at Sala Dalles.

Tenor Ştefan von Korch, soloist-host and initiator of the Musical Extravaganza series, says: "This concert is for us a unique opportunity to celebrate femininity and beauty through lyrical art. The audience will have the chance to enjoy pieces dedicated to the noblest sentiment – love – and eternal inspiration – woman."

VIVO PER LEI will be more than a concert; it will be a story on the staff where tenors ŞTEFAN von KORCH, ALIN STOICA, soprano ŞTEPHANIE RADU, and pianist ALEXANDRU BURCĂ will guide the audience through the beautiful paths of love, from the beginnings of lyrical art to the present days.

While tenor Ştefan von Korch is known for his extraordinary high notes and acclaimed for appearances in excellently lyrical roles, tenor Alin Stoica is described as "a tenor with a colossal voice unprecedented on Romanian stages and beyond," and is appreciated for his dramatic force, while soprano Stephanie Radu enriches the concert's range with a unique timbre and gentle voice, making the musical meeting of the three soloists truly memorable.

ABOUT THE PROTAGONISTS

** ŞTEFAN VON KORCH (Tenor)**

With an exponential evolution, nationally and internationally, Ştefan von Korch concluded the year with the sold-out show "Invitation to Waltz" at the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre and at the Palace Hall as a guest in the 20th Anniversary Viennese Christmas Concert. During the summer, he debuted in Carmina Burana on the prestigious Palermo Classica Festival stage, performed alongside the Aragon Kingdom Orchestra in Spain, was an invited recitalist at the Lipova Symphonic City Maria Radna open air, and since the beginning of the year, has been the host of the Musical Extravaganza concerts, hosted monthly in the capital.

Throughout 2024, he performed the vocal-symphonic work Stabat Mater by G. Rossini, considered a virtuosity demonstration for any tenor, and Lobgesang by F. Mendelssohn on the Târgu-Mureş Philharmonic stage, performed in Carmina Burana at Craiova Summer Fest, and at the Iaşi Opera in the sparkling role of Camille de Jolidon from The Merry Widow 2.0, directed by Andrei Şerban, and at the Romanian Opera in Timişoara in Mario Di Carlo's The Merry Widow production.

In 2023, the tenor captivated audiences with masterful interpretations of his signature role in Carmina Burana, for which he is considered a benchmark, and was the only Romanian soloist on a 27-city tour in China. Other career highlights include starring roles in operas and operettas presented on Romania's largest stages: "The Barber of Seville", "The Elixir of Love", and "Falstaff" (National Opera Bucharest), "Rigoletto," "The Merry Widow," and "The Merry Widow 2.0" (National Opera Iaşi), "I Puritani" (national premiere), "Rigoletto" and "The Barber of Seville" (Romanian Opera Cluj-Napoca), and others.

In 2022, he expanded his repertoire with the titular role in the European premiere of the show "Traiano in Dacia" by Giuseppe Nicolini, staged at the Romanian Opera in Cluj-Napoca, and his portfolio includes roles in three national absolute premieres: the opera "I Puritani" at the Romanian Opera in Cluj-Napoca (2016) where he sang the highest written part for a male voice, the opera "La Sonnambula" by Vincenzo Bellini (2018) and his presence on the Radio Hall stage in Bucharest in the national absolute premiere of Rossini's vocal-symphonic work "Messa di Gloria" (2019).

ALIN STOICA - Tenor

Alin Stoica is the only Romanian tenor who performed at the Vatican Christmas concert last year and was invited by the Pope for a private meeting. He is also the sole Romanian holder of the Luciano Pavarotti Award. At the National Opera in Bucharest, he stands out in "La Traviata," "Carmen," and "La Bohème."

The "Luciano Pavarotti" award, obtained in 2017, was presented to him by the famous tenor's wife, Nicoletta Mantovani, alongside the second prize and the audience award "Vota la voce," both secured at the Sarzana festival in Italy. Thanks to this achievement, tenor Alin Stoica was invited to sing at the Tributing Concert for the 10th anniversary of Luciano Pavarotti's passing at the Arena di Verona, alongside great names in the music world such as Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Andrea Bocelli, Il Volo, Eros Ramazzotti, soprano Angela Gheorghiu, and others.

Over time, the artist has perfected his vocal training with tenor Ionel Voineag and tenor Marius Budoiu, participated in Masterclasses by Rockwell Blake and Liora Maurer (Metropolitan Opera, New York), Mariana Nicolesco, and other specialists.

STEPHANIE RADU – Soprano

The soprano with a charming presence and a voice that soothes souls is a graduate in Musical Pedagogy – Academic Choir Conducting, and dedicated eight years to studying classical and contemporary ballet. In 2024, she was among the finalists of the Vatican Christmas competition with her own composition "Regalo di Natale," composed in 10 minutes of inspiration, and recorded over 1 million views on the song "Te uită, cocorii."

From the colorful role in "The Enchanted Flute" to appearances in Disney shows, the young soprano has notable appearances that don't go unnoticed. Her achievements include numerous awards in light music competitions, classical singing, ballet, and piano, as well as excellence diplomas from the embassies of Turkey and Ukraine. She has sung in numerous countries, including Slovenia, Ukraine, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, France, Turkey, etc.
