"Old Love" is a romantic comedy in two acts, with notes of personal drama, featuring a story with a happy ending, Hollywood-style, set in an austere decor composed of a few white furniture pieces, contributing to the special, minimalist note of the play.
An "Old Love" takes place in our days, linking for nearly three decades the humble clerk Bud Mitchell and his boss's wife, Molly Graham, with sporadic meetings and discussions sprinkled with humor, quickly forgotten by her, yet forming the cornerstones of a solid emotional construct for him. However, the decisive step is not taken until they are both alone, free from family obligations, she a widow, he divorced.
