"Old Love" is a romantic comedy in two acts, with notes of personal drama, which unfolds the story with a happy ending, Hollywood-style, in an austere setting, consisting of a few pieces of white furniture that contribute to the special, minimalist tone of the play.
An "Old Love" modern-day story connects small-time office worker Bud Mitchell and his boss's wife, Molly Graham, over nearly three decades with sporadic meetups and humor-laden conversations, quickly forgotten by her but forming the building blocks of a solid emotional structure for him. However, the decisive step isn't taken until the two are alone, free from family obligations, she being widowed, and he divorced.
