“Butterflies, Butterflies” is the story of a lonely woman, a woman who plays in her own life the role she wishes to present to the world: a strong, beautiful, and independent woman, who lets herself be courted and loved by men with material and social status, without submitting to any of them. EDDA, as she is known, is the woman for whom family and children are burdens, obstacles in the way of unfolding her narcissism. She is the woman who cannot distinguish between reality and illusion, who lives in her own world and refuses to accept reality. It is a life story that unfolds from the subtlety of comedy to deep drama, a story about illusion, dreams, love, truth, and its acceptance.

The three characters in the cast are found today in various families, seemingly universal. The new premiere “BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES” will impress with its originality in staging, the play space, visual elements (sand drawing), original music that highlights each comedic or dramatic moment, and not least, a perfect cast: Maia Morgenstern, Marius Manole, and Alexandra Paftală. This new premiere, “BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES”, brings forth a remarkable theatrical production, sprinkled with comedic moments but also with much, much drama.
