Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest right when he started university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful student years, years that marked the beginning of his comedic career. He doesn't regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains fully grateful to all who have inspired and helped him along this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless humorous shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this craft, he remains a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundation of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and performances have always been the measure of novelty and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through this great popular artist's comedy, one learns the art of intelligent humor, the purity, and the taste of naturalness.
