"Biloxi Blues," originally written by Neil Simon, is a theater performance designed to highlight the hardships of American soldiers, but also the absurdity of certain situations, through satire based on situational and character comedy. The protagonist, of Jewish descent, has three main goals: to survive the army, to become a writer, and to start his sexual life. While working towards these objectives, other soldiers make their mark as well. Among them are a muscular soldier, a womanizer, a soldier with feminine traits, a failed singer, and a well-read... VERY well-read man.
Recommended age: 14+ years.
