The Illusion of Some Islands is a post-postmodern multimedia experience, with live music and lo-fi video design, attempting to sensorially summarize everything the team (and likely the audience) experienced in the last months of 2024 and the first months of 2025. It's the story of a world that has fragmented into incompatible pieces. It's the story of a painfully long journey to what you used to call home, the story of shattered friendships, of families that remain families only on paper, the story of fathers who never know what to say or of the only opinions that can save us. It's how our lives look and sound in moments when we feel that no one sees us and no one hears us.
