APOLODOR
*APOLODOR* is a unique show, adapted from _The Book with Apolodor_ , one of the most well-known books of poetry for children, written by Gellu Naum.
Combining verse with dance, music and movement, conceived as a metaphor for the path from childhood to maturity, the show creates the fantastic atmosphere of an imaginary world, following the initiatory path of the penguin Apolodor, a path that symbolizes the search for identity for each of us.
Apolodor, eager to reunite with his family from Labrador, leaves the circus in Bucharest where he sang in the choir, goes through a lot of adventures, integrating into different environments and geographical spaces, traveling by land, water and air. In the end, after finding his family, overwhelmed by longing, he decides to return to Bucharest, with his friends from the circus.
Built with a lot of humor, with emotion and overflowing energy from the seven actresses who show a strong playful spirit and who interpret in turn, both the role of the penguin Apolodor, and all the other characters that appear in the story, through the power of imagination and with minimalist stage means, relying exclusively on the acting qualities of the protagonists, the show itself becomes a metaphor for the searches and rediscoveries of each of us.
