You take a very possessive mother of a son (Carmen Tănase), add a shy, obedient son, but with some minor deviations (Marius Manole), sprinkle in some matrimonial ads, and drop in a stunning, single and desperate woman (Maria Obretin) and you already have a comedy that disarms even the grumpiest spectator. Bonus, after you laugh, and laugh, and laugh you realize that the story is not cheerful at all, you realize that the story is that of many lonely people around you, or even your own. After which you laugh one more time, of course, because Lia Bugnar always makes sure to send her audience home with a big smile on their faces.
