BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES

“Butterflies, Butterflies” tells the story of a single woman, a woman who plays in her own life the role she wishes to present to the world: a strong, beautiful, and independent woman, who has allowed herself to be courted and loved by men with material and social status, without submitting to any of them. EDDA, for it is about her, is the woman for whom family and children are burdens, obstacles in the path of narcissism. She is the woman who cannot distinguish between reality and illusion, who lives in her own world and refuses to accept reality. It is a life story that unfolds from the nuances of comedy to deep drama, a story about illusion, dreams, love, truth, and its acceptance.
The three characters in the cast can be found today in various families, seeming to be universal. The new premiere “BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES” will impress with the originality of the staging, the playing space, through visual elements (drawing in the sand), through original music that will highlight every comic or dramatic moment and, last but not least, through a perfect cast: Maia Morgenstern, Marius Manole, and Alexandra Paftală. This new premiere, “BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES”, brings to the fore an extraordinary theatrical production, sprinkled with comic moments but also with much, much drama.
