Beauty was born in the countryside; this is seen through the eyes of Maricica, a simple girl from Oltenia, who came to Bucharest to become an actress.
The play is a lesson full of humor and sincerity that our characters, Maricica and the Painter, bravely practice in front of a crowd of strangers. It is an excursion into the picturesque life in the countryside and a call to become unique, to love life, to fight for what we feel. A humorous challenge to rediscover ourselves.
