Mihaela Alexa and Sorin Zlat form a remarkable duo in the contemporary Romanian jazz landscape.
Mihaela Alexa (Voice) graduated from the Conservatory and obtained a master's degree in music from the University of Music in Bucharest, classical singing section. She is among the few classical singing soloists who has managed to combine, but also to differentiate classical music from light music, jazz, pop, soul.
Sorin Zlat (piano) - pianist, clarinetist and composer, holder of numerous national and international awards, is one of the most representative jazz pianists of the new generation of Romanian artists, who in recent years has received distinctions such as the Grand Prize in the Jacksonville Jazz Competition, Florida (2015), the Grand Prize in the Monaco Jazz Competition (2013), the Grand Prize in the Montreux Jazz Competition (2015), the Award for "Best Jazz Musician".
