„Pop Meets Opera” with Ștefan von Korch and Adrian Enache

Two emblematic artists of the Romanian music scene, tenor Ștefan von Korch, a representative of classical music, and pop star Adrian Enache, a prominent figure of local pop, meet on October 22 at Dalles Hall in the concert "Pop Meets Opera - The Refrain Duel", a unique musical event that brings face to face the elegance of opera and the effervescence of pop-rock music.

Under the pretext of a "Refrain Duel", the two artists will offer the audience an electrifying show, in which the great pop hits will intertwine with beautiful canzonets, in an elegant musical meeting, full of surprises and emotion. Alongside them, accordionist Paul Stânga will add a special note to the evening, contributing with virtuosity and color to the fusion between the two genres.

Tenor Ştefan von Korch details: “it will be a timeless mix of hits and a way for the audience to discover pieces from the classical repertoire that have famous transcriptions in the modern one: “O Sole Mio” and its English version “It’s now or never” is the best known example, but not the only one.”

The event will bring the audience closer to the refinement of classical music and the vibrant energy of pop music, in an accessible, modern and captivating formula.
