SENSATIONAL! A unique event in Romania!

We invite you to an original and captivating show, full of color and harmony, to the rhythms of the Iberian Peninsula, less known to the Romanian public.

In this event, the public will become familiar with the traditional classical music of Spain, namely Zarzuela, with its specific features given by the specific Iberian inflections and the indispensable original accompaniment of castanets.

         

The artistic program will include arias from the most beautiful and representative zarzuelas, such as „Los diamantes de la corona” (F.A.Barbieri), „La gran via” (F.Chueca/J.Valverdesnr.), „El barberillo de Lavapies” (F.A.Barbieri), „La cancion del olvido” (J.Serrano), „La alegria del batallon” (J.Serrano), „La marcha nera” (F.MTorroba), „Katiuska” (P.Sorozabal), „El chaleco blanco” (F.Chueca) and the Cuban zarzuela „Maria la O” (E.Lecuona).

Moments of Spanish classical dance of the type La Danza estilizada espanol,  Escuela Bolera. found in zarzuelas„Dona Francisquita”–Fandango–(A.Vives),„La leyenda del beso”–Intermedio–(R.Soutullo/J.Vert),„La Dolores”–Jota(T.Breton),„la Revoltosa”–Intermedio–(R.Chapi).

The show is supported by soprano Nora Benesmezzo-soprano Gabriela Dobre,tenor Marius Turtoi, Cristian Caragea, baritone, accompanied on the piano by pianist Natalia Gribinic, alongside violinist Dumitru Porcescu

Ballet soloists are Iguacel Sanchez Casadella-Spain, Alexandru Birsanescu Alexandros Karampatsakis-Greece.

At the premiere of the show, the representatives of the Spanish Embassy who were present in the hall were delighted by the original idea and congratulated the artists for the beauty and success of the show, as well as for the effort to promote Spanish culture in Romania. 

So, here we are again in Bucharest!
