In a premiere artistic concept, the production "The Evening Star" brings Mihai Eminescu's masterpiece to the audience in a contemporary, emotional, and accessible reinterpretation for new generations, by combining theatre, contemporary dance, and music.
The cast brings together Alexandra Marami, Iulia Dumitru, Ionut Graur, and Andrei Moldovan, with the extraordinary participation of actor Bebe Cotimanis.
The concept and choreography are by Mario Grosu, founder of Mario Dance Atelier, a company known for its theatre-dance productions presented both in Romania and abroad.
"Luceafărul" is not just a stage adaptation of Eminescu's famous poem, but an artistic exploration of the relationship between love, the absolute, time, and the human condition. The performance poetically transposes Eminescu's universe into an intense visual and emotional experience, aimed at both young audiences and spectators passionate about contemporary theater and dance.
