APOLODOR
*APOLODOR* is a unique show, adapted from _The Book with Apolodor_, one of the most well-known children's poetry books, written by Gellu Naum.
Combining verse with dance, music, and movement, conceived as a metaphor for the journey from childhood to maturity, the show creates the fantastic atmosphere of an imaginary world, following the initiatory path of the penguin Apolodor, a journey that symbolizes the search for identity for each one of us.
Apolodor, eager to reunite with his family from Labrador, leaves the circus in Bucharest where he sang in a choir, goes through a multitude of adventures, integrating into different social and geographical environments, traveling by land, water, and air. In the end, after finding his family, overwhelmed by longing, he decides to return to Bucharest, alongside his friends from the circus.
Constructed with much humor, emotion, and overflowing energy from the seven actresses who demonstrate a strong playful spirit, and who take turns performing both the role of the penguin Apolodor and all the other characters appearing in the story, through the power of imagination and with minimal scenic means, relying exclusively on the acting qualities of the protagonists, the show becomes a metaphor for the searches and rediscoveries of each of us.
